Dear < Performance Matters LaunchWe are delighted to invite you to the launch of Performance Matters On Friday 30 April 2010 As a subscriber to the Performance Matters website we are delighted to let you know about the Performance Matters launch day events on 30 April, and to offer you priority booking for the evening programme. Performance Matters is a three-year creative research project bringing together artists, curators and academics to investigate the challenges that contemporary performance presents to ideas of cultural value. Performance Matters is an unprecedented collaboration between the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies at Roehampton University and the Live Art Development Agency. Daytime events from 12.00 – 16.00 on 30 April: The Performance Laboratory will include works by Annalaura Alifuoco & Lis Austin, Augusto Corrieri & Owen Parry, Danae Theodoridou, Ella Jean Finer, Fabrizio Manco, Gigi Argyropoulou & Lisa Alexander, João Florêncio, Jungmin Song, Mathias Danbolt & R Justin Hunt, and Pavlos Kountouriotis & Sarah Louise Spies All are welcome to attend and no booking is required. Evening events from 19.00 to 22.00 on 30 April: You must reserve a place for the evening event and can do so by emailing bookings@thisisperformancematters.co.uk by 15 April 2010 at the latest.
